Beginner Off-Road Motorcycle Course

Skill level: No off-road experience required.

Duration: Half day.

You'll learn: body position, throttle and clutch control, slow-speed balance, braking, simple obstacle clearing.

Required gear: helmet, boots, gloves, eye protection (rentals available).

Includes: motorcycle, fuel, course completion certificate.

Sand, Ruts, Roots & Hills

Skill level: Beginner course completed or equivalent off-road experience.

Duration: Full day.

You'll learn: reading sand, picking lines through ruts, root and root-cluster technique, climbing and descending Florida-grade hills.

Required gear: full riding apparel.

Includes: motorcycle, fuel, lunch, certification.

Rider Evaluation

Skill level: Self-rated intermediate or above.

Duration: 2 hours.

Purpose: Skill assessment for membership eligibility, full-day tour qualification, or instructor placement. We'll grade you across core skills and recommend next steps.

Includes: written evaluation report.

Tour Guide / Instructor Certification

Skill level: Advanced rider with documented experience.

Duration: Multi-day intensive.

You'll learn: group management, terrain reading, emergency response, instructional technique, route planning, and our internal SOPs for guiding paid tours.

Includes: Blackwater Adventures Tour Guide Certification on completion.
